- Research activity
- Practice creating a music CD cover using the textbook CD-ROM files.
- Follow the directions in pp. 206-218 to combine retouching, compositing, and other skills in a comprehensive project.
- Save the resulting files on your storage device.
- Show what you did during the next presentation, earning up to 2 points.
- Lab activity
- Create your own media packaging.
- Use the knowledge acquired in the practice session to do a makeover of the outside of a published item (CD, DVD, book, magazine, video or audio tape).
- Pay close attention to proper size and proportions.
- Show the original item and your makeover during the next presentation, and collect up to 5 points more.
- Home activity
- Review the entire Unit II (pp. 79-218) of the textbook. Make sure you have a basic, solid understanding of raster graphics and Photoshop.
