- Are both versions of the ad included, showing specific differences?
- Does each address the correct audience?
- Does each take an appropriate design approach?
- Does each communicate needed information?
- Do the ads project a recognizably consistent image?
- Uniform use of character attributes and paragraph formatting in the headline and copy blocks?
- Uniform signature block?
- Uniform treatment of graphic enhancements?
- Do the ads meet the requirements of the print job?
- Is this a two-color job?
- Will text and graphics reproduce well on newsprint?
- Are the ads properly sized for the FC schedule?
- Will the ads stand out from surrounding material?
- Is the self-mailer usable?
- Will it go through the mail at reduced rates?
- Do the recipients get to keep key information — instead of sending it off with the reply card?
- Did you test a printed copy to make sure there is enough room to fill in the form blanks with ordinary handwriting?
- Did you just assume the recipients would provide complete data — instead of guiding them?
- For example, you probably want the recipients' phone numbers with area codes: make that absolutely clear by designing — for instance — a separate blank enclosed by parentheses.
- Did you explore different design options?
- For example, see whether a horizontal or vertical layout would give you more usable space.
- Was the project submitted properly?
- All linked files included?
- Fonts used listed?
