- Practice using Illustrator to position picture elements precisely using guides.
- Follow the directions in Chapter 9, pp. 322-328 to draw a clock with accuracy.
- Save the resulting files on your storage device.
- Show what you did during the next presentation, earning up to 2 points.
- Lab activity
- Draw your own business cards.
- Use what you learned from the practice session, if suitable, to add to the line drawing you traced in the previous session.
- Use the tracing as a logo for your business cards.
- Follow the directions in Chapter 9, pp. 318-322 to reuse the logo in setting up a sheet of business cards for yourself. Stop before actually printing the proof sheet.
- Show the business cards with logo during the next presentation, and collect up to 3 points more. Make sure all files are saved, as you'll need them again later.

- Read the last part of chapter 9 (pp. 318-330 of the textbook).
